The Seattle Korean Cultural Center (SKCC), founded in 2019, promotes Korean culture in Seattle through various cultural activities such as gallery exhibitions, performing arts programs, film festivals, and educational workshops.

Gallery Korea within SKCC hosts exhibitions for Korean, Korean-American, and international artists. Programs like the annual Call for Artists and Asia Week highlight emerging and renowned artists.

SKCC supports traditional and contemporary performing arts, offering platforms for rising performers and collaborating with renowned venues. Our film division presents new Korean films and supports film festivals like the Asian Film Festival.

We also host Korean food competitions and workshops featuring top chefs. Our public library, open to all, provides access to Korean literature and history.

Our workshops and lectures, offered year-round, and collaborations with local institutions, like the Korean Storytime with Seattle Public Library, help spread Korean culture. We support K-pop’s popularity through programs like the K-pop Academy and citywide dance parties.

SKCC aims to enhance Korea-U.S. relations and promote Korean culture in Seattle, contributing to the diverse cultural landscape.
